Hajimemashite! (Nice to meet you in Japanese)
The Escambia County Sheriff's Office welcomed guests from the Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program today. Their national program is arranged by Mississippi Consortium for International Development and their local program is arranged by Gulf Coast Diplomacy. The group's project is titled Lessons Learned from Base-Hosting Communities in the United States. During their time in Pensacola, they will explore community and law enforcement relations with local military bases, military and local government collaboration for emergency response coordination, and media coverage of military communities.
