The U.S. Department of Transportation has funded our airport with a $2.9 million grant that will allow us to correct runway drainage issues and replace antiquated runway lighting. This project will consist of replacing the Runway 12/30 lighting system and will also make the LED lighting brighter, more energy-efficient, and last longer. The work for this project is expected to begin this October and flights will continue through the construction process as normal.
