Caroline Lambert, the Cougars' Nominee for Student of the Year | Lauderdale County Schools, Alabama
Active - that's the word that comes to mind when we think of Caroline Lambert from Waterloo. The Cougars' nominee for Student of the Year plays basketball and softball and is on the cross-country team where she has qualified for state for the past four years. All the while Caroline has been able to keep the highest average in her class. When she is not playing sports, she is volunteering helping sports teams by working the gates or concession stands.
A junior, Caroline knows she wants to attend college, but she is still weighing her options on what she wants to study. Her math teacher, Beth Pollard, states "She is a brilliant and motivated young lady that strives to excel in her coursework and serves as a leader through her extracurricular activities."
Caroline enjoys school and says "The thing I enjoy about my school is the relationship between the students and the teachers. The whole school is like a big family." We are proud to have Caroline as one of our 17 nominees for Shoals Student of the Year and are excited to see who will be this year's winner on April 20.
