Colbert Co Sheriff's Office: Appreciation to One of the Deputies

Untitled

I would like to recognize and express our appreciation to one of our Deputies, Sgt Jonathan Terry, for the effort he put in to designing our new uniform patch for all Colbert County Deputies.  Several months ago in 2021, we made plans to order new uniforms for our Deputies.  Sgt Terry came to me that day and asked if he could design a new patch that would better match the color of our new uniforms.  I gave him permission to work on that and earlier this year he designed the patch you see below in the pictures.   I think it looks great and that it will look professional on our new uniforms which should be ready within a few weeks.  Once we get these new uniforms we will have a ceremony to retire the current patch that has been in use for many years.  Today, I presented Sgt Terry with a plaque which has the very first new patch on it.  All of our Sergeants were present at this meeting.  I am proud of the leadership we have in this Department and the fact that each Sergeant runs their shift in a professional manner.  In the photos below with me are,  Chief Deputy Jamie Klaska,  Lt DeShannon Bowling, Sgt. Dan Coggins, Sgt Mike Booth, Sgt Johnny White, and Sgt Jonathan Terry.   Click on the photos below to read the inscription on the plaque.
