Heritage Christian University issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.
"From preaching the few years that I have, I have learned that people, more than anything, like to know that you care about them.
Of course, churches want a sound gospel preacher, but they also want someone to be there to listen to them talk about their families, their struggles, their studies, etc. I have learned that being a preacher is more than just putting sermons together every week. It includes an even greater amount of time that must be sacrificed for the benefit of others. I am praying very much that God will providentially help me to go to the right places that I can not only preach His word but be able to teach in a Christian University someday."
