University of North Alabama recently issued the following announcement.
Since COVID-19, many residents in nursing homes have been in isolation, with no outside world communication. The residents at The Arc of The Shoals are some of the many residents who have faced isolation during this time. With Love, The Lions, you can help! With this event, we will be writing letters to the residents from The Arc of The Shoals in order to form relationships with the residents and communicate to a group of people who desperately want to build these relationships with you! This event will be held October 1, 2020 in the GUC Atrium from 11:30am until 1:30pm.
