Helen Keller Public Library issued the following announcement on Sept. 3.
We've been counted in the 2020 Census. Have you? The more families and individuals who are counted, the more Federal tax dollars will flow back to our community. We simply cannot afford to lose millions of dollars to other counties and states! Information from the Census is used to determine how much money is given to Fire & Police Services, Library Services, Healthcare, Roads & Bridges, Housing Assistance, Disaster Relief, Sewers, Parks, and Education. Stop by the library to fill out the Census! The public computers are available for use from 12 pm-4 pm.
