Heritage Christian University enrolls 51 undergrads

At Heritage Christian University, 51 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 96 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Florence enrolled 78 students in fall 2018, including 51 in undergraduate and 27 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

29 percent of undergraduates are residents of Alabama, and 71 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (76 percent) and Black or African American (8 percent).
