Lauderdale County largest nursing home as of Q4 2023: Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing and Rehabilitation

In the fourth quarter of 2023, Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing and Rehabilitation stood out as the largest nursing home in Lauderdale County, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Data shows that the nursing center had a total of 222 beds available, 100 more than the average in Lauderdale County as of the fourth quarter of 2023. They aided an average of 187.1 residents during that period.

Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing and Rehabilitation boasted an overall rating of 4 from the CMS, which is higher than the average of 3 recorded for nursing homes in Alabama.

During the quarter, Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC stood out as the second largest nursing home in Lauderdale County, with 147 beds available. Glenwood Center came in third place, with 125 beds available.

As of the fourth quarter of 2023, Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing and Rehabilitation achieved a zero-incident record for fines and penalties.

In total, there were three for-profit nursing homes in Lauderdale County, Alabama.

But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
